Vincent Van Gogh Artwork

First we drew the swirls and circles.

Then painted it also used some pastels.

With the pastels we did stripes in the circles and blue stripes on the background.

Then do patterns on the Eiffel tower then glue the Eiffel tower on to the background and your done.

I liked making the patterns on the Eiffel tower I would definitely do it again.

If I did it again I wouldn’t change anything because of how good it looks.

E-Symposium

We did E-Symposium where other schools from our Kaikohekohe Cluster  showed us new things to do online. It was really fun because I learnt how to use new tools like Canva and Silk. We ended the E-Symposium with our school which was silk. Every part of it was fun. I enjoyed it. The presenters were amazing and sharing with us.

My Speech 2024

My Speech:

What do you call a garbage can that doesn’t know anything? A dumb-ster. Did you know that there is 2.01 billion tons of rubbish in the world and lots of it is ending up on our land and sea. Rubbish is the introduction of harmful materials into the environment. I strongly believe that people should stop dumping rubbish and start picking up rubbish and putting it in the bin. My reasons are as follows: it makes you a good person, it makes the environment clean, and it reduces the risk of a fire spreading.

Firstly, picking up rubbish is an important thing and it makes you a better person. Mother nature would be happy at you. What would happen if one day all of the rubbish creates floods and you’ll be smelling a disgusting scent for days. You will not like it and mother nature will not be happy. Don’t think that the rubbish bin is a basket ball hoop. Start picking up rubbish that’s in sight and make sure it is going into a bin.

Secondly, picking up rubbish will make the hills squeaky clean and the sea blue. Making the environment clean is special because it makes Tangaroa and Papatuanuku happy. All of the plants, birds and ground animals will survive and the sea animals will be happily swimming in a blue sea.  If you pick up all the rubbish our environment will be tidy like it was when the dinosaurs became extinct.

Lastly, if we keep out land clear of rubbish us will reduce the amount of fuel for fire. Making a fire is important but not when there is lots of rubbish around. Rubbish helps fuel a fire and increase the risk of it spreading.Large fires take a long time for the firefighters to put out. Also bush fires destroy animals homes and also can risk peoples homes.

So people don’t throw rubbish around, put it in the bin. We want to look after mother nature and have a clean environment for not only us as humans but for animals too.

Please Do Not Leave Rubbish Around!!

Positive feedback I received:

“You didn’t talk like a robot.”

“You talked clearly.”
